Module 2 discussed the use of three technology tools. The technology tools are Twitter, Diigo, and Pixton. Each tool can be implemented in the classroom in several ways. Despite being more of a social media platform, Twitter can still be a very effective tool in the classroom. It can be used to distribute significant articles that are found immediately. Additionally, it can be utilized to give the current generation a voice on trending issues. Using specialized terms known as hashtags, students can search for essential topics. High school and college classrooms would benefit most from using this technology. The ease with which children can access social media and the volume of damaging information available to them provide challenges for this tool. You can use Diigo to enhance the quality of your searches and to assist you in organizing and centrally storing your digital discoveries.
